West Goshen Church Women's Ministry meets twice per month.

* On the 1st Wednesday of each month we meet at 9:30am in the West Wing fellowship hall for our service day project.  The projects range from knotting baby comforters to baking cookies, or possibly going out in groups to visit our homebound members.  Our morning of service work is often followed by gathering at a local restaurant to enjoy lunch together.

* Once per month we gather for an evening or on a Saturday to have a fellowship activity.  Planned for 2023 are a "Let's Flamingle" Bunco Night, a Mother, Daughter & Friends Painting Party, a shopping trip to Michigan City, blueberry picking, a "Meal and a Show", visiting the zoo and having a picnic, a craft day, and a Christmas Celebration.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

June 26 - 30, 2023     6-8:00 PM

Child Evangelism Ministries will be bringing a team to WGC to provide VBS for children ages 5-12.

West Goshen Church firmly believes in being the hands of Christ.  Along with giving financial support, we support The Salvation Army each month by collecting items for their local food pantry.  We also financially support The Window located in downtown Goshen.  Other organizations we support are Hope Force International, Starfish Project and Adult & Teen Challenge of Northern Indiana.  A monthly Mission Can Offering is collected and each quarter's giving goes to a different organization.  For 2023 those organizations will be Church World Service, The Vine Ministry, Heifer International, and West Goshen Elementary School.  One of our most recent outreach projects has been to provide Birthday Celebration Bags to our local elementary school, West Goshen Elementary.  Each child receives for their birthday a gift bag the includes a cake mix, tub of icing, birthday candles, birthday plates and birthday napkins for them to take home to use in celebrating their birthday.

Sunday School is available each Sunday morning for all ages.  Our Children's Department has classes for ages 2-6th Grade, Youth meet in their basement youth room, and there are three adult classes to choose from.  Nursery care is also available.

On Wednesday evenings you'll find us gathered in our West Wing fellowship hall for a provided supper at 5:30 PM.  Following supper there is F.R.O.G. (Fully Rely on God) Club for the children and the adults gather for a time of Bible Study or simply a time of fellowship.  There are no Wednesday evening activities during the summer months (Memorial Day to Labor Day) or during the Christmas school break.
